7:00 local time in Reykjavik … in our small guesthouse, weather briefing with Marc.

We must make a decision quickly … in fact, there seems to be an interesting weather window for today, but a short one!

What to do ?

– Take the risk of starting to Narsasuaq without TAF (Terminal Aerodrom Forecast) with however the possibility on the way to turn back  to Iceland, or to divert to Kulusuk.

– Go directly to Kulusuk (our original route) with the risk of being stuck there for a few days.

– To stay in Reykjavik with no certainty of arriving somewhere and probably again be stuck for a few days !

Finally, arrived at the airport, we quickly get a favorable TAF for Narsasuaq and equipped with our suits, we start flying as soon as possible.

Water …. still water, still water …. for after more than five hours of flight, the best reward ….. the glow of the first ice of Greenland .

It’s easy to forget the last hours spent above the ocean discovering this magnificent spectacle of blue icebergs and icy fjords. The approach to Narsasuaq is beautiful, we no longer know where to put our eyes ….

Finally, we discover the hidden Narsasuaq track at the end of a fjord and we ask for a stop about 1:30.

After some paperwork, and refueling… we are leaving in the direction of Canada.

Flying over the last part of the Atlantic (1200 km of sea) is somewhat monotonous but very stressful … indeed, we must not forget that we cross this ocean with ‘single-engine’ and therefore view of the first Canadian land has delighted us all.

I must say that after nearly 11hrs of flight, we were all a little tired!

Landing at Goosebay (Labrador) in the rain …. it only remains to find a hotel, a restaurant and a bar especially for watering that!
