673 Nm (1.250 km) above the ocean.

7:30 am: Our appointed forecaster – Marc Bourgeois – announces good news … an opening for crossing inbound Reykjavik. We validate and take off at 13:20 local time after a full inspection of the machines and after fited our survival suits … a hilarious moment!

Hardly in the air, we leave behind the Scottish cliffs and under our wings, during 5 h, water, water, water …

Barely we crossed 4 boats … And suddenly, in the middle of the North Atlantic Ocean, we capture a GSM
network!?!?!
Searching out how this is possible, we were told we passed we passed near oil platforms. First radio contact with Iceland from the scout crew – Jean and Claude – they were 30 min away from the finish. They confirms the excellent weather conditions in Reykjavik.

Approaching Reykjavik following the coast lne, we discover the first lava flows and the wild beauty of this volcanic land …
Islande that should have been named Greenland.

Finished at OO:00 and it’s still light outside.
